This position starts out at $14.55 and up, depending on experience. 

Summary Serve the needs of walk-in customers and phone calls, as well as using equipment for loading, unloading, storing, transferring, and distributing materials and products in yard by performing the following duties:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Scale in and out trucks in a timely manner (fast-paced atmosphere).
  • Operate forklift and loader.
  • Assemble orders from inventory in yard / load orders for shipping by truck.
  • Unload and inspect incoming materials and verify invoices.
  • Computer skills – excel and word.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Communicate with homeowners and landscapers about hardscaping materials / understand and explain the uses of different block types to customers.
  • Overtime required during peak season; some Saturdays required.
  • Uses safe work procedures that comply with safety policies and regulations.
  • Customer-service oriented with positive attitude is a must.
  • Valid driver’s license required

Other Skills and Abilities                                                     

  • Experience in the landscaping industry is desirable
  • Ability to operate forklift and loader are required

 Other Qualifications - Work schedule is expected to be 40-50+ hours during the summer months.  Some Saturday shifts will be required.  Valid driver’s license is required.
